AND YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS IT.

If you can....come down to St. George MAY 7th.  There will definitely be a celebration after!

I have the best job ever!
Everyday I get to hear the morning announcements.
Today for lunch will be corn dogs, fruit medley, chocolate milk, and your choice of dessert.

We recite the pledge every morning.
On Fridays we sing our school song proudly.
Do you even remember that in Elementary school the Gymnasium, Auditorium, and Cafeteria are all the same room!?  So funny.  I totally forgot.

Some of the things I get to do at work.....
Build the tallest Jenga towers EVER!

Play games like Go Fish and War a bajilltion times!
Make paper air planes!
Have Valentine's Day Parties!!
Remember bringing Valentines for all your friends and strategically picking out the perfect sayings for your friends and the cute boys?
Remember making Valentine's Boxes?

I totally remember making a CANDY CASTLE.  We made it out of K'nex.  You had to plug it in so when you placed the candy on the moving conveyor belt it would take the candy into the castle and drop it off.  It was incredible!  I think kids gave me double the Valentines just so they could see their Valentine move into the castle and then disappear.

It's fun when kids are excited to come see you!
Life is great!

I stand corrected

Okay....so a few people have made me fully aware of the fact that cats have NINE lives not SEVEN
So....I stand correct and thus have 2 more near death experiences to add to my previous post.

7.  Followed by a scary man on my way to my friend's house when I was in second grade.  I seriously almost got kidnapped.  I ran for my life and have never been more scared ever!  I don't even know if he was going to offer candy.

8.  Once in Mexico, my family buried me in the sand.  Up to my neck.  Well, the tide rose and several waves came crashing over my head.  I was taking breaths between waves, it was so crazy!  The sand weighed a million pounds on my body as it got wet.  Everyone started freaking out and Marielle was nice enough to try and hold my head above the water while my family snapped pictures.  My favorite part was definitely when a women came by on her horse and wanted me to hold a rope while she ran off on her horse and tried to yank me out of the sand.  More like yanking my arms off!

So....that leaves my 9th life!

7 lives

It's said that a cat has SEVEN lives right??!
Well then....I too must have seven lives.
Am I a cat?  Well, some might argue that I am.
I mean...I could be considered a Cougar.
I am a BYU graduate and....sometimes I date younger men.

Well....I've died just about seven times.

1.  Once while living in Hawaii, I hitch-hiked to get home with my friend Marielle.  Turns out, we were picked up by a drug dealer. Probably not such a good idea.  I kinda feared for our lives.

2.  Crashed super hard wakeboarding.  I was afraid to open my eyes because I thought my eyeballs had popped out.  It hurt so bad.

3.  "The" breakup.  Seriously thought for a minute that I might die from a broken heart. Don't worry, I've found the missing pieces and I'm as good as new.

4.  My first triathlon.  I literally thought I was going to die during the swim.  The wet suit was constricting me and I didn't feel like a could breathe.  Thought I might suffocate.  Just about died right there in the water.

5.  Got a "last minute deal" on a hotel room in Rome.  Super sketchy.  Not only was I nervous about sleeping there for four nights but also leaving all of our belongings there while we went out for Thanksgiving dinner.  Crazy Americans!

6.  And most recently.....I thought I was having a heart attack.  I stayed up all night, nervous that I might have a heart defect because I was experiencing pain in my left shoulder.  Turns out I just had bicep tendinitis.  It had nothing to do with my heart!

AND....

Well...I guess that leaves me one more life to live.
Here's to 2011
And although I'm sure there will be plenty more breakups, sketching situations, scary people, hard crashes, and the last 5 miles of a race where I just don't think there is any way I am going to make it....
I am excited!!  Going to make it a good one!

What my WHISTLE can do

Talk with the birds
Give a warning when I'm coming around a sharp corner on my bike
Let the skiers/wakeboarders behind the boat know that we're turning around
Call out for help when I'm in a case of emergency
Do cat calls
Impress the fellas
Cheer at games without destroying my voice
Let my roommates know that I am coming home
Whistle along to music
Play name that tune
Get someone's attention
It's great when I'm too lazy to get out of bed and need something
Be a referee for a game of any sort
Be located anywhere, whether lost in a store or party
Cheer out during Zumba class without completely losing my breath
to name a few....

Not to mention that this is all hands free
Probably the most useful tool I have.....or have ever learned
Thanks Mar!
